Conversely, do it the old fashioned way. He'll definitely get back to you.

You never said what your power was. Did you use it when we were there?

The bow is my power. Or at least one of them. I can call it at will, wherever or whenever I may be and can dismiss it just as easily.

Unfortunately others wouldn't have been much use in that particular situation.

No. Can't say I do.

And no. At home I had a real bow that I had to carry with me. It's taken some getting use to, but I can't deny its usefulness.

One of the others I did have at home, to an extent. The mark on my hand - did you see it? It's called The Anchor. It's magic, powerful magic. At home it gave me the ability to manipulate tears in the dimensional veil -- here... it seems to only to glow and occasionally call forth demons. Neither of which would have helped.

The other was a joke by the Porter. Thankfully, she's taken pity since and removed it when she sent me home.

What could you do? You can’t just say something like that and not tell me.

Actual demons. The last one was a Despair demon and it tried to kill a friend of mine.

That was the problem. I couldn't do anything. It was all about the bears. And yes, real bears. I've had several encounters with the animals at home and they never go well. Here, the Porter made it so they could find me - anywhere. Perhaps for revenge, I can't say. I don't understand her humor.

No. I imagine that could have possibly made it useful, so we couldn't have that. It was rage and teeth.

I wasn't sure I'd ever enjoy Her messing about with my body, but in this case....

She's given me a horse. Like my bow, that I can call and dismiss at my will.

That is way cooler than a bear. How far can you 'call' it from? Does it just appear out of thin air?

It does.

And as far as I'm aware, it will come wherever I am... though I'll admit I've been reluctant to try it indoors. Despite being able to see through it, it still takes up all the same space as the regular animal.
